Clearwater County History Center sets holiday hours

The Clearwater County History Center in Shevlin will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 24, and Friday, Nov. 25, for the Thanksgiving holiday.

SHEVLIN — The Clearwater County History Center in Shevlin will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 24, and Friday, Nov. 25, for the Thanksgiving holiday.

The museum will be also closed the week of Nov. 28 through Dec. 3 to finalize decorating for the Festival of Trees.

The History Center will be open from 1 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 4, for the first time to view the Festival of Trees and select a favorite by purchasing a ballot. The museum has been decorated with historic holiday decorations, Santa collections and more than 20 trees are on display for visitors to enjoy, a release said.

Regular museum hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and by appointment.
