The Blake Grotberg Foundation recently made a $5,000 donation to the Ronald Mcdonald House Charities of the Red River Valley in Fargo. The charity was established to raise money to bring awareness and ease the burden on families who are navigating childhood illness.
Blake Grotberg Foundation was created in memory of Blake Grotberg of Bemidji, who died in February 2019 at age 15 at the Children's Hospital in Minneapolis.
"October is a special month in that it was Blake's birthday month and Down Syndrome Awareness month," a release said.
