Bemidji Steel donates to Bemidji Career Academy

The Bemidji Career Academies recently announced their newest financial sponsor, Bemidji Steel Company of Bemidji.

BEMIDJI -- Bemidji Steel Company recently made a $1,000 sponsorship to the Bemidji Career Academies. The funds will be used for the students in the Mechatronics Manufacturing Academy to help with transportation costs for their real world experience, course tuition, uniforms, graduation medallions and more, a release said.

The spiral walk and market will be open from 4 to 7 p.m. on both Friday, Dec. 9, and Saturday, Dec. 10, with additional market hours from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday.
Scouts from Bemidji’s Troop 25 chose to pursue welding merit badges throughout the fall, and were able to experience several demonstrations of important welding tools and techniques in partnership with two local businesses.
