BEMIDJI — The Bemidji Concert Series kicks off its 2022–2023 season at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 15 with a special tribute to tenor saxophone legend Michael Brecker by jazz trio Charged Particles in conjunction with Tod Dickow.
The Tod Dickow and Charged Particles collaboration features the compositions that Brecker recorded and performed and that were composed by him or his close friend and collaborator, Don Grolnick, a release said.
The concert will be held in BSU's Thompson Recital Hall in the Bangsberg Fine Arts Complex. Tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for seniors 62 and older. All Concert Series events are free for K-12 students and BSU/NTC students with ID.
