Bemidji Chorale to hold Mother's Day concert

The Bemidji Chorale will host its annual Mother's Day concert at 3 p.m. on Sunday, May 8, in BSU's Beaux Arts Ballroom.

BEMIDJI — The Bemidji Chorale will hold its annual Mother's Day concert at 3 p.m. on Sunday, May 8, in BSU's Beaux Arts Ballroom on Birchmont Drive NE.

The performance will begin with Craig Courtney's "Ukrainian Alleluia" followed by "Uniamo in Amore" (Let Us Unite in Love) by Kevin Memley. Which will feature an interplay between Wayne Hoff on piano and Maggie Ragan on the french horn.

The choir will be joined by Baritone, John Stewart, Tenor Levi Capisius and Soprano, Amanda Renbarger. Adding Rene Clausen's arrangement of "What a Wonderful World" With soloist Maddy Lawrence.

The concert is free to all and donations are welcomed. Masks are required for this event. The concert is conducted by Patricia Mason and accompanied by Wayne Hoff.
