BEMIDJI — The Apple Blossom Village will host an Enchanted Halloween Walk fundraiser from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 28, and from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 29, in the yurts in the outdoor space at Rail River Folk School, 303 Railroad St. NW.
"Walk the jack-o'-lantern lit path, experience shadow puppetry, stories and fairytales, stop by the yurts for a taste of homemade applesauce and Halloween fun, and free cider at the campfire," a release said. "Stop by the Autumn Bake Shoppe for treats for $1 to $5 on the way out."
Walks will begin approximately every half hour. The last walk will begin at 8 p.m. Friday evening and 7:30 p.m. Saturday evening.
As this is a family event, organizers ask that attendees refrain from wearing horror/gory costumes, the release said.
The event is open to the community and geared toward those ages 2 to 10 and their families. The cost is $10 per person or $48 for families of five to eight people, ages 2 and younger are free.

Funds raised will go toward the school's summer camps and nature school.
