BEMIDJI — Affinity Plus Federal Credit Union recently remodeled its branch location at Bemidji State University.
Students and staff at Bemidji State are eligible for credit union membership at Affinity Plus, which also serves as a resource for financial questions and planning, a release said.
“At Affinity Plus, we are incredibly supportive and committed to education and lifelong learning and are always looking for ways to help students make financial decisions,” said Sarah Kuesel, senior manager at Bemidji Affinity Plus. “This remodel serves as a reminder of our commitment and investment to our members, students, staff and Bemidji community.”
The branch location includes an on-site banker twice a week and an ATM. Students and staff can apply for loans, make deposits or withdrawals at the deposit-taking ATM and get financial advice, the release said.
The space will also serve as a spot to host special events.

“We hope this branch becomes a space where students learn to use technology to bank from anywhere, all while receiving that Affinity Plus experience from our team when we are there,” Kuesel said.
