Adventures in Lifelong Learning to host Madi Pfleger

The Adventures in Lifelong Learning program will kick off its fall series from 10 to 11:30 a.m. with Madi Pfleger presenting “Frauds, scams and 21st-century snake oil online frauds" on Tuesday, Sept. 27, at the Bemidji Eagles Club, 1270 Neilson Ave SE. Use back entrance.

BEMIDJI — The Adventures in Lifelong Learning program will kick off its fall series from 10 to 11:30 a.m. with Madi Pfleger presenting “Frauds, scams and 21st-century snake oil online frauds" on Tuesday, Sept. 27, at the Bemidji Eagles Club, 1270 Neilson Ave SE. Use back entrance.

Refreshments will be served at 9:45 a.m. participants are asked to bring their own reusable cups.

Pfleger, prevention specialists with First National Bank, will again acquaint lifelong learners with updated information on scams, identity theft, debit and credit card safety and check fraud.

Attendees are asked to bring their questions on a card or sheet of paper as Pfleger may not have time to answer all questions in person. 

The presentation will also include highlights of upcoming programs and events.
