BEMIDJI — Ace on the Lake will host several Beltrami County Master Gardeners from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, May 7, at Ace Hardware, 600 Paul Bunyan Drive S.
The event will offer a short presentation on the following:
- Using ornamental grasses in the landscape
- Container gardening
- Lettuce in 30 days
- How to make a twig teepee/trellis
- Growing vining crops successfully
- Organic matter in the garden
There will be a time for questions and answers as well.
"Ace on the Lake has hosted the Master Gardener program for several years before the coronavirus pandemic halted in-person presentations," a release said.
Ace will be providing coffee and snacks as well as giving away seedlings to all who attend. The event is free to the public, all are welcome. Come early for the best seating.
