United Way of Bemidji Area is partnering with Paul Bunyan Broadcasting, FamilyWise (Prevent Child Abuse Minnesota), and child abuse prevention partners in Beltrami, Hubbard, and Cass Counties to host the 34th Annual Radiothon to End Child Abuse on Thursday, Dec. 1.
Holiday Gifts for Kids, a program of the United Way of Bemidji Area, is in the middle of its annual effort to ensure that all children who are in need this season and live in the Bemidji area receive a gift.

The United Way of Bemidji Area is encouraging local businesses, church and school groups, service organizations and other community organizations to participate in a Week of Caring.
The United Way of Bemidji Area has started its annual Holiday Gifts for Kids in an effort to ensure children in the area will receive a gift during the holiday season.

The United Way of Bemidji Area is partnering with the North Country Food Bank and the Sanford Center to offer a mobile food distribution from 9 to 11 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 31, at the Sanford Center, 1111 Event Center Drive.
Five local women leaders were honored at the sixth annual Women United Tribute Awards on Thursday, which highlighted the importance of recognizing current and emerging leaders.
In partnership with Bemidji State University, the United Way of Bemidji Area will host the sixth annual Women United Tribute Awards from 8:30 to 10 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 27, in BSU's Beaux Arts Ballroom, 1500 Birchmont Drive NE.
