Fry bread fanatics came out strong on Wednesday for Sanford Health’s 24th annual Taco Fest kicking off a four-day extravaganza of Dragon Boat Festival activities.
Delta Kappa Gamma Mu Chapter President Kate Pearson and Treasurer Deb Rossman recently presented donations to the Bemidji Community Food Shelf and the United Way of Bemidji Area.
The United Way of Bemidji Area is all set to host its third annual bass and walleye fishing tournament. As a catch-photo-release tournament presented by Lueken’s Village Foods, the competition will be held Saturday, July 23, through Sunday, July 24, allowing any public lake in Beltrami, Clearwater or Hubbard counties to be fished.
The funds will support club youth involvement in effective and fun educational programming and games for club members to learn and enhance their skills.
