Sanford Health welcomes Tiffany Axtman, APRN, CNP, to walk-in and COVID-19 infusion teams


Sanford Health in Bemidji welcomes Tiffany Axtman, APRN, CNP, to the Walk-in care team at the Sanford Bemidji Walk-in Clinic. Tiffany will also be joining the infusion team at the Special Care Infusion Center to assist with COVID-19 infusion treatments.

Tiffany received her undergraduate degree in biology from Wartburg College in Waverly, IA, before earning her bachelor’s in nursing and master’s as a nurse practitioner going from Allen College in Waterloo, IA. Tiffany is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

Tiffany gained valuable experience as a nurse at the Shell Rock Health Care Center in Shell Rock, IA; the Unity Point Health – Allen Hospital in Waterloo, IA; and Sanford Health Neilson Place in Bemidji. Prior to rejoining Sanford Health in Bemidji, Tiffany worked as a nurse practitioner at the Grand Itasca Rapid Clinic in Grand Rapids, MN.

At the Walk-in Clinic, Tiffany treats patients who may have a wide variety of ailments, including cold and flu symptoms; coughs and sore throats; earaches; infections, including urinary, sinus and eye; minor cuts, lacerations and burns; skin conditions, including rashes, poison ivy and insect bites; and sprain and strains.

When asked about the care she provides, Tiffany shared, “I aim to provide compassionate and patient focused care to patients and their families.”

Having grown up in the Twin Cities area, Tiffany is looking forward to spending time with her family biking, running and enjoying the great outdoors that northern Minnesota has to offer.
