Sanford Health welcomes Ron Bardwell, APRN, CRNA, to the anesthesiology team


Sanford Health in Bemidji welcomes Ron Bardwell, APRN, CRNA, to the anesthesiology team at the Sanford Bemidji Medical Center.

Ron obtained his undergraduate degree in nursing at Bemidji State University before attending University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, ND, where he received his master’s in nursing. He is also board certified by the National Board of Certification and Recertification of Nurse Anesthetists.

As a certified registered nurse anesthetist (CRNA), Ron provides general and regional anesthesia; evaluating, diagnosing, treating and managing acute, chronic and postoperative pain; and monitoring sedated anesthesia patients. Ron provides anesthesia during procedures related to a variety of medical specialties, including cardiology, general surgery, gynecology, obstetrics, pediatrics and vascular medicine.

When asked about the care he provides, Ron shared, “My goal is to provide holistic care to patients, so they get the best possible experience.”

During his leisure time, Ron enjoys spending quality time with his family, farming and enjoying the great outdoors that Northern Minnesota has to offer.
