Sanford Health welcomes Christine Hanson, APRN, CNP, to the family medicine team
Sanford Health in Bemidji welcomes Christine Hanson, APRN, CNP, to the family medicine team at the Sanford Bemidji Walk-In Clinic.
Christine obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks, ND in nursing and communication. She later received her Master of Science in Nursing from UND as well.
Prior to her time at Sanford Health, Christine worked as a family nurse practitioner for Altru Health System in Roseau, MN for the last seven years.
Christine is trained in all major areas of family practice and is qualified to care for most of the medical needs of the entire family, from infants to the elderly. Specializing in family medicine urgent care, Christine treats cold and flu symptoms, coughs and sore throats, earaches, infections, including urinary, sinus and eye, minor cuts, lacerations and burns, skin conditions including rashes, poison ivy and insect bites, in addition to sprains and strains.
When asked of her idea of care, Christine shared “I strive to work collaboratively with my patients to optimize their health.”
Growing up in Badger, MN, Christine spent much of her childhood traveling to Bemidji and enjoying the great attractions the town has to offer. In her free time, Christine continues to enjoy traveling while also finding interest in cooking, walking her dog and refinishing furniture.
