Sanford Health welcomes Randall Ambroz, MD, to radiology
Randall Ambroz, MD, recently joined the radiology team at the Sanford Bemidji Medical Center. Dr. Ambroz attended undergraduate at the University of Nebraska in Lincoln, NE. He earned his doctorate from the University of Nebraska in Omaha, NE. Dr. Ambroz then completed a transitional year at Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, UT; residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Mayo Clinic - Rochester and a fellowship in Diagnostic Neuroradiology at Mayo Clinic - Rochester. Dr. Ambroz is Sanford Health of Northern Minnesota’s first radiologist with fellowship training in Diagnostic Neuroradiology. He is currently board eligible by the American Board of Radiology. Dr. Ambroz is available for referral with specialization in the diagnostic imaging of the brain, head and neck and spine including neurodegenerative disorders; seizure and epilepsy syndromes; vascular lesions and vasculopathies; infectious and inflammatory conditions of the central nervous system; as well as primary and metastatic lesions of the brain, head, neck and spine. He is able to provide procedures including epidural, facet and trigger point injections; major joint injections and aspirations; and image-guided biopsies. “My top priorities are to provide accurate and timely diagnoses, up-to-date clinical guidance and deliver cost-effective care,” said Dr. Ambroz. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, bicycling, listening to music and fishing.
