Anderson Fabrics in Blackduck recently engaged employees in volunteering for the American Cancer Society with Hat Day for Relay for Life.
Employees were encouraged to wear hats to work. Three prizes were awarded for the craziest hats worn. The hat theme also raises awareness of cancer in the community by acknowledging that people undergoing treatment for cancer may wear head covering due to the side effect of hair loss with some treatments.
Anderson Fabric employees raised $125 from Hat Day for their Relay for Life team.
Employees also held a taco lunch that raised $350.
