The Paul Bunyan District Boy Scouts hosted a fall Timboree at Camp Nushka on Cass Lake for Scouts in the Paul Bunyan, North Border and Appleget districts.
More than 40 scouts and 20 adult volunteers attended the Timboree. Participants engaged in sawing derbies, wood splitting, water hauling, a timber hitch relay, rope making, chopping derby, matchless fire-starting and more.
The Scouts also performed service projects to enhance the forest campground and surrounding area by picking up trash, cleaning bathrooms and other efforts to welcome future campers.
