Some of our favorite home town actors are returning to the stage this coming weekend with the Bemidji Community Theater's production of "Bedroom Farce," an adult comedy by British playwright Dan Ayckbourn. Derrick Houle will be directing the play, and the cast includes Dave Moffet as Ernest; Sara Breeze as Delia; Amanda Mix as Jan; Sasha Almendinger as Kate and Norwood Hall as Malcolm. There are two newcomers to BCT for the performance, as well, and they are Gary Rozman, who plays Nick, and Amy Puschinsky, who plays Susannah.
BEMIDJI — Music is in the air this week, as there are many concerts to choose from. First up is Lance Benson, local composer and musician, who is well received for his playing and singing. He will solo beginning at 2 p.m. today at the amphitheater at the Lake Bemidji State Park, rain or shine. These summer concerts are sponsored by the North Country Snowmobile Club of Bemidji.
The day can start with the scent of pine surrounding you at the amphitheater at the Lake Bemidji State Park.
Music fans have a couple of wonderful options in the area today. Four-part harmony takes the stage at 2 p.m. today at the Lake Bemidji State Park amphitheater with the Pine Tones. The events are sponsored by the North Country Snowmobile Club of Bemidji. Rain or shine, the show will go on for this well-known local singing group.

Monday is the final day to register for the Animal Portrait Watercolor Workshop with Cindy Agan, an internationally published author of an instructional and art video "Painting Watercolors that Sparkle with Life." Agan's watercolor workshop in Bemidji garnered praise like "....best art teacher that I have ever had."
