While years of work have been done toward helping victims of domestic violence, there is still more work to do, said Lonna Stevens, director of the Sheila Wellstone Institute. The Bemidji School Board agreed by consensus Monday night to keep the superintendent evaluation process the same as in the past few years. The board evaluates the superintendent annually. The board will gather input this month from its own members as well as school district employees who work directly with Superintendent Jim Hess, according to Ann Long Voelkner, board chairwoman.
