About 15 brave souls faced the frigid waters of Blackduck Lake on Feb. 20 as they plunged into a hole carved into the ice for the Frozen Fowl Polar Plunge event during Winter Fun Fest in Blackduck. The weekend event also included snowshoeing, a scavenger hunt and snowmobile races, to name a few of the activities. "The event went well," Blackduck City Administrator Christina Regas said. "The weather was kind of a bummer, but the drag races had a really good turnout."
