BEMIDJI -- Wouldn't it be nice to see the Beach Boys here in Bemidji? For more than 50 years, the Beach Boys have been touring and recording music, which include several hit songs such as "Good Vibrations," "California Girls," "Wouldn't It Be Nice," "Kokomo" and the the album "Pet Sounds." BEMIDJI -- After a year of touring behind an album and film, both of which are titled "Fading West," alternative rockers Switchfoot will be hitting Bemidji during the final trek of shows. The band consists of Butler, Jon Foreman and his brother Tim, Jerome Fontamillas and Drew Shirley.

Stories abound of screen glass cracking and/or breaking from being dropped, a spilled drink wreaking havoc on a poorly placed device and other situations that can leave one thinking their device is doomed. The event Thursday night at the Hampton Inn & Suites featured Stephanie Curtis, who does the Movie Maven film reviews.
