BADGER, Minn.--A rural Badger man has been killed in an ATV accident. The Roseau County Sheriff's Office responded to a 911 call at approximately 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, according to a news release. Deputies found George Patrick Walsh, 77, pinned under a combine while on an ATV.
FOSSTON, Minn.—Five people were arrested with more than $350 worth of methamphetamine Tuesday in Fosston, Minn., according to court records. MINNEAPOLIS -- A partial roof collapse Wednesday night injured concert-goers at the popular Minneapolis music venue First Avenue. The Minneapolis Fire Department reports that two people were transported the Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis. The department said via Twitter that three to four people were injured with some injuries treated at the scene.
LUVERNE — Seven employees of Christensen Farms have been suspended by the company after allegations of improper animal care at a hog farm near Luverne in far southwestern Minnesota, and an animal welfare group is calling for criminal charges against the workers and managers.
BISMARCK – Twenty-two people face federal charges in connection with an alleged methamphetamine distribution ring between North Dakota and California. A grand jury indictment unsealed Tuesday alleges the defendants traveled between North Dakota and California to obtain and distribute more than 500 grams of meth in Minot and elsewhere since September 2014.
BISMARCK – North Dakota and Minnesota have resolved a longstanding disagreement over reciprocity for concealed weapon licenses. North Dakota Attorney General Wayne Stenehjem said effective immediately, Minnesota will recognize Class 1 licenses from North Dakota but not Class 2 licenses, which don’t require a shooting proficiency test. All Minnesota license holders now have reciprocity in North Dakota.
