BEMIDJI -- On a Monday afternoon in Bemidji, three high school girls wait for a man in a van to pick them up after school. Each has a different reason for getting into the vehicle. For two of the girls, it's meth; for the other, it's pills and alcohol. All three are driven to an apartment building north of town -- where they bond in abstaining from their drug of choice, where they rock the sober lifestyle. "The majority drug of choice, or DOC, is marijuana but we do get some cases of alcohol and meth as well," said Rock Sober Coordinator Corey Medina. Medina is the man in the van.
