Andy Wells, of Wells Academy, uses a crumpled $20 bill as a metaphor on Thursday after he received the Charlie Naylor Lifetime Achievement Award from the Bemidji Chamber of Commerce. Wells provides job opportunities to economically disadvantaged people, so the crumpled $20 bill represents a person who is still of full value, but just needs to be “straightened out.” (Jillian Gandsey | Bemidji Pioneer)
