The Bemidji State men’s basketball team opened the playoffs with an explosive first half against Wayne State on Wednesday evening. Here, Beavers’ senior guard Jason Edwards drives past defender LaTroy Wright for an easy two. Edwards scored 13 points and BSU won easily, 71-54, to advance to the quarterfinal round of the NSIC/Sanford Health Men’s Basketball Tournament. They’ll take on Winona State Saturday night in Winona.
