Zion Lutheran Church recognized 50+ years of membership Oct. 25. Fifty-six members were recognized during the regular worship service and a brunch was served following the service. Zion Lutheran Church was organized in 1902. Heirs of charter member, George Bye, are still members today. They include Beverly Charlton, Norma Finseth and Genevieve Swanson. In words from Zion's church history, "The greatest thing for Blackduck was when the Word of God was brought here."
