The Kelliher and Blackduck Fire Departments completed training for nine new firefighters with a live burn May 6. The Firefighter 1 and 2 training is 120 hours of classroom and hands on structural firefighter training and was contracted with Mesabi Range Community and Technical College. Remember grandma's rose bush, the lilacs, peonies, phlox and lilies that grew around her house? The North Beltrami Heritage Center is collecting heritage plants to include in the Heritage Sculpture Garden which will be located in gardens around the old WPA Auditorium.
