After many, many years, two long-time employees from the Good Samaritan Society in Blackduck have retired. Mary Lou Waldo, left, and Pat Hill were both honored with a cake and party Dec. 29. Both will be missed by staff and residents alike.

Oct. 25, eight students from the Blackduck High School choir traveled to Duluth for the annual Duluth Honor Choir Festival. Each student learned four songs and joined over 150 students from around Minnesota to sing in a massive choir.
