Santa and Mrs. Claus, Dale and Mickey Witt, felt that they had missed many places in prior years so this year they called ahead and let it be known that they would be visiting the nursing home, assisted living, senior center, some businesses, the American Legion Auxiliary and last but not least, the Blackduck History and Art Center where they gave children apples and candy after they came from the free movie and hay ride. The Blackduck Senior Center was the site for an omelette fundraiser breakfast and bake sale Dec. 2. The two cooks are Keith Anderson, right, and Rick Mulvenna worked well together. Mulvenna is from Canada and brought his culinary skills to the center. He was given the "basics of omelette making from Anderson. It just goes to show that people from all countries can work together for a good cause. the fundraiser was sponsored by the senior center.
