The Blackduck softball team raised $1,001.50 at their Coaches vs. Cancer Hit-a-thon that took place April 21. The softball team lost to their parents in the game that followed the hit-a-thon.

Remember grandma's rose bush, the lilacs, peonies, phlox and lilies that grew around her house? The North Beltrami Heritage Center is collecting heritage plants to include in the Heritage Sculpture Garden which will be located in gardens around the old WPA Auditorium. The Sculpture Garden will also include equipment used in the early days of the Kelliher Area. Ryan Naughton graduted May 11 from St. Cloud Technical College with a 3.8 GPA  wth an industrial electronics technician AAS and and instrumentation process control AAS. He is the son of Chris and Tom Johnson and Greg Naughton.
