Congratulations to the class of 2012 that was graduated from Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University in Blackduck. Classes were held at Faith Lutheran Church for 13 weeks. The classes consisted of a dynamic DVD based curriculum and small group time. The graduates are from let to right: Sharon Peaslee, Shelly DeJean and Gary DeJean. Sue and Jack Davis were the facilitators.

The Kelliher and Blackduck Fire Departments completed training for nine new firefighters with a live burn May 6. The Firefighter 1 and 2 training is 120 hours of classroom and hands on structural firefighter training and was contracted with Mesabi Range Community and Technical College.
