Forty middle-school robotic teams will compete today in the Northern Minnesota VEX Robotics Tournament at the John Glas Fieldhouse. For the first time, Bemidji Middle School wiil send two teams to the competition. It takes a couple days for students to figure out bus schedules and pick-up times, but it gets easier each day. On Tuesday, Middle School teachers and school district administrators were outside helping route students to the correct bus. Bemidji Middle School hosted its 20th annual Career Day on Friday with 63 individuals giving presentations on their professions. Phil Hansen, a North Dakota State University graduate who played for the NFL’s Buffalo Bills, was a featured motivational speaker.
