GIRLS SWIMMING: Brainerd clips Jacks in dual meet
BRAINERD -- The Bemidji High School girls swimming and diving team fell to Brainerd in a dual meet Tuesday night, 126.5-59.5.
Abby Yartz captured victories in the 100 butterfly and 200 free to pick up the Lumberjacks’ only event wins. The senior swam to first place in those races with times of 1:09.21 and 2:07.58, respectively.
Bemidji will return to the pool Sept. 11 for a home triangular meet with Perham and Thief River Falls.
