GOLF: Bemidji girls take second at Wadena

WADENA — The Bemidji High School girls golf team took second place in the Wadena Invitational Thursday night.

The Lumberjacks scored 351 as a team on the par-72 White Tail Run course.

Pequot Lakes took first with a score of 334 while host Wadena took third with 396.

Morgan Williams led the Lumberjacks with a score of 39-41-80 while Kelsey Isaacson was second on the team with a score of 41-46-87.

Pequot Lakes’ Savannah Stone was the meet medalist with a score of 77.

The Lumberjacks are off until the Section 8-3A tournament June 3-4, which will be hosted at Long Prairie Golf Course.
