Lumberjacks volleyball: Bemidji trips Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton 3-1
DILWORTH — After a slow start the Bemidji volleyball team caught fire and the renewed energy resulted in a 22-25, 25-19, 25-18, 25-23 victory Tuesday at Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton.
“In the second game we turned it on,” said BHS coach Teresa Colligan whose team improved to 9-10. “Dilworth is a scrappy team but we are too. That resulted in many long volleys.”
Talia Lucken capped the victory when she broke a 23-23 deadlock in the fourth game with a pair of aces.
Mariah Colley and Brylee Colligan paced the offense as Colley had 15 kills and Colligan 11.
Defensively, Emily Falldorf contributed six blocks and Maura Chadwick four. Alexa Greendahl dished 45 set assists and Hanna Olson collected 28 digs. Colley added 23 digs.
Bemidji will return to its home court Thursday when it hosts Wadena-Deer Creek.
