PARK RAPIDS -- For the second straight meet, the Bemidji High School gymnastics team broke a program record for team score in a meet, scoring 142.35 points in a win over Park Rapids Thursday night.
The Lumberjacks had just set a new high score Saturday by recording 141.6 points in a win over Detroit Lakes, only to set the bar higher in Thursday’s victory over the Panthers, who posted 121.85 points.
Tatum Offerdahl finished first overall individually, recording an all-around score of 36.2 for the Jacks.
Other Bemidji individuals in action included Lauren Lundquist (2nd, 34.95), Leah Lucas (6th, 26.7), Mady Schmidt (7th, 26.1), Lauren Berg (9th, 17.25), Elizabeth Corradi (10th, 16.3), Tara Tesch (13th, 8.85) and Sophie Morin (15th, 7.85).
The Lumberjacks will now prepare for the Section 8AA meet on Saturday, Feb. 17, which will be held at Buffalo.
