GIRLS GOLF: Jacks win two-person scramble at St. Michael-Albertville Invite
ALBERTVILLE -- Taylor and Tatum Offerdahl paired up to lead the Bemidji High School girls golf team to first place at the St. Michael-Albertville two-person scramble invitational Thursday at Cedar Creek Golf Club. The duo of sisters led the Jacks with a 67 on the day to take second place.
Following the Offerdahls, Abbie Kelm and Nicki Son carded a 70 to bring the team score to 137, while Kylen Fenson and Damaris Berg posted a 76 as a reserve score.
A Buffalo pair made up of Hannah Morin and Ally Peeler took the top spot in the scramble with a 66, but the Bison fell to fourth as a team behind Bemidji, STMA (143) and Cambridge-Isanti (150).
Following meets in two straight days, the Lumberjacks are now off until Tuesday, May 22, when they travel to the Detroit Lakes Invite at Wildflower Golf Course.
