BAGLEY — The regular seasons are winding down for the area high school baseball teams.

Blackduck ended its Northland Conference campaign 10-2, losing only to Bagley. Overall the Drakes were 11-2 prior to Thursday’s game against Deer River.

Wednesday at the Bemidji State University diamond Bagley and Blackduck each posted a victory in the conference cross-over tournament.

Bagley, which won the North half of the league, battered Pine River 15-5. Pine River was the champion of the South half.

Blackduck finished second in the North and the Drakes blistered Nevis, the runner-up in the South, 15-5.

In the second game Weisert hit a grand slam and a 3-run homer run.
