BASEBALL: BSU/MSU Mankato doubleheader canceled; Upper Iowa game moved

BEMIDJI - A bleak weather forecast for Mankato canceled the BSU’s baseball doubleheader against nationally-ranked Minnesota State Mankato today.

The double dip was originally scheduled for April 17 in Bemidji but moved to today in Mankato when the weather in Bemidji turned bad this weekend.

The Beavers will move yet another series this weekend away from the BSU baseball diamond.

BSU’s April 20-21 home series against Upper Iowa has been moved to UIU’s campus in Fayette, Iowa. Twin bills are slated for each day. Saturday’s first pitch is set for 1 p.m., while Sunday’s doubleheader is scheduled to begin at noon.

Bemidji State’s next home date is slated for May 1 against Southwest Minnesota State.
