SOFTBALL: Bemidji State moves home games

BEMIDJI – Weather is once again messing with the Bemidji State spring sports schedules.

The BSU softball team announced Monday it had moved six Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference games to different dates and locations.

The Beavers’ series against Minot State, originally scheduled for Tuesday, has been moved to today at 1 p.m.

Additionally, the Beavers’ home opening series, scheduled for Saturday and Sunday have been moved due to field conditions in Bemidji.

BSU will now travel to Wayne, Neb. to take on Wayne State at 1 p.m. Saturday and will then head to Sioux Falls, S.D., Sunday for their doubleheader against Augustana.

Both days will still feature doubleheaders and are still considered home games for the Beavers.

Bemidji State will play three road series next week and is next scheduled to play at home April 16 against St. Cloud State.

The Beavers are currently 7-16 overall and 1-5 in conference play.
