Craft leads Jacks golfers at tourney

JORDAN, Minn. -- Kodi Craft shot an 83 Friday to lead Bemidji in the first day of the Hermantown Invitational high school boys golf tournament at Jordan.

The Lumberjacks are in last place in the seven-team meet with the final 18 holes to be played today.

Hermantown leads the tournament with 317 strokes, followed by Richfield and Prior Lake at 325, Byron at 329, Grand Rapids at 330, Detroit Lakes at 331 and Bemidji at 341.

Trey Dale was the second top scorer for the Lumberjacks with an 85. Ryan Erickson added an 86 and Zach Rickers shot 87.

The kickers were Jake Hoffman at 92 and Michael Froseth at 105.
