Bemidji wrestling batters Hibbing 51-18

Brian Maas, Dylon Sauceda, Colton Doty, Brenden Fredriksen and Alex Johnson each posted pin victories to lead the Bemidji wrestlers to a 51-18 victory Thursday at Hibbing.

Maas set the tone with his pin at 120 while Sauceda won at 126, Doty at 145, Fredriksen at 195 and Johnson at heavyweight.

Robert Treuer won by decision at 132 as did Dustin Greenman at 170 and Kade Johnson at 182. Gannon Strain also was awarded a forfeit victory at 138.

Thursday's win gave the Lumberjacks a 4-6 dual record. Bemidji will return to action Saturday when it hosts 11 other teams in the annual Rick Lee Invitational.
