Jacks cross country clock top times at Little Falls

The Bemidji boys cross country team finished fourth in Thursday's giant 21-team Little Falls Invitational.

"Everyone had the top times of the season," said BHS coach Ryan Aylesworth. "We still have plenty of work to do but we took a step in the right direction and I'm pleased with the performances."

Hopkins won the meet while St. Cloud Cathedral was second, Sartell third and Bemidji fourth.

Sam Carlson paced the Jacks as he placed seventh in 16:40. Dan Clemenson was 19th (17:19), Ryan Erickson 34th (17:45), Adam Holter 44th (17:55), Seth Neubeck 46th (17:57), Thomas Revering 53rd (18:09) and Kyle Sagedahl 55th (18:12).

In the girls varsity race Bemidji's top performance was Kim Truedson's 10th (15:14). Jenna Truedson started the race despite being ill but she was unable to finish.

Bemidji was ninth in the team chase with 233 points. Monticello took the top spot with 58 points.

Dani Gronhovd placed 44th (16:27), Kayla Olson 56th (16:50), Hannah Dressen 61st (16:56) and Nicole Erdman 62nd (16:56).
