Jacks boys golf team fifth after first round at Detroit Lakes Invitaitonal

The Bemidji boys golf team will enter today's second round of the Detroit Lakes Invitational in fifth place as the Lumberjacks shot a season-best 306 Friday in the opening 18 holes at Longbow.

Today's round will be played at Wildflower in Detroit Lakes.

Moorhead leads the field with 291 while West Fargo shot 292, Fargo South 296 and Detroit Lakes 304.

St. Cloud Cathedral shares Bemidji's 306. Trailing the pack are Becker at 309, Detroit Lakes II at 334, Fargo Davies at 337 and Albany at 343.

Jordan Manick and Kaleb Hanson each shot 75 to lead the Jacks. Trey Dale carded a 77, Max Hazelton 79, Kodi Craft 80 and Elliot Leinen 82.
