The Beavers enter the weekend with a 9-11 overall record (3-9 NSIC).

The Beavers (11-2-0 overall, 8-2-0 NSIC) travel to Minnesota-Duluth for a critical 3 p.m. game against the Bulldogs.

The two teams enter the game tied for first in the NSIC standings and the winner will have the edge in the chase for the regular season title with a week left to play.

It will also be a key battle in the NCAA Division II Super Region where BSU is ranked No. 9 and UMD is No. 7. The top six teams in each super region at the end of the season qualify for the D-II national tournament.

BSU returns home Saturday for the final home game of the season. The non-conference game against Minot State will serve as Senior Day and is scheduled for 3 p.m. at BSU Soccer Field.

The Beavers wrap up the season next weekend on the road at Southwest Minnesota State and Minnesota State University, Mankato.

The NSIC tournament begins Nov. 3 with first-round games at home sites.
