Bemidji HS boys tennis: Holter sets tone in win

The Bemidji boys tennis team swept the singles matches and won at second doubles on way to a 5-2 victory at Detroit Lakes Tuesday.

Ben Holter set the tone with a 6-3, 6-0 win at first singles and Adam Holter collected a 6-2, 4-6, 6-2 victory at second.

Kyle Fodness registered a 6-1, 6-1 triumph at third and Craig Lindseth capped the singles sweep with a 6-0, 6-3 win at fourth.

Justin Byers and Alex Hess combined for a 6-2, 4-6, 6-2 victory at second doubles. Bemidji's Levi Rickert and Joey Wood fell 6-3, 7-6 (7-4) at first doubles and the team of Ben Kloha and Hayden Byers lost 6-3, 6-4 at third.

The win was Bemidji's third in seven dual matches. The Lumberjacks will be at Thief River Falls on Thursday.
