Bemidji State men's basketball: Northern State slips past BSU on last shot of game

The Bemidji State men's basketball team lost to Northern State 67-65 Friday night at BSU Gymnasium.

Bryce Tesdahl's free throw with 2:41 remaining in the game gave the Beavers a 63-60 lead.

Northern rallied to tie the game at 63-63 with 2:21 remaining when Jordan King made a layup, was fouled and made the subsequent free throw.

The Wolves then went up 65-63 on Alex Thomas' layup before Tesdahl would answer with an offensive rebound followed by a laup with 24 seconds to go.

Northern was left with the final posession and made Bemidji State pay when Mitch Boeck hit a jumper wit three seconds remaining.

Boeck led Northern State with a game-high 23 points.

Seth Haake had 18 for BSU. Lance Rongstad has 13 points and Tesdahl added 11.
