Selina Gilbertson and the 200 free relay joined Jana Hedstrom in the state swim meet finals today after making the top16 in Friday's preliminaries.

She should be back the next three seasons, however, in both the IM and breaststroke. an event that she narrowly missed advancing to the state in this year.

The 200 free relay of Frey-Maris Jahner, Gilbertson and Katie Verchota finished 15 in 1:43.18, setting a new school record in the-process.

T he old mark was set last year at the section meet by Kaleigh Frey, Jahner, Gibertson and Verchota at 1:43.82.

The 400 free relay of Frey, Dani Luby, Verchota and Gilbertson narrowly missed advancing when it finished 17 in 3:46.10, only .22 off the final qualifying spot.

Hedstrom had finished 15 Thursday in the diving prelims but only 12 points shy of eighth. She will continue her quest for a higher finish today. The Class A finals start at noon.
