BHS boys golf: Jacks third at DL Invite

The Bemidji High boys golf team finished third Tuesday at the Detroit Lakes Invitational.

Playing the DL Country Club course, Roseau won with a 315 to 319 for the DL Red.

Bemidji had 323, its second lowest score of the season, with the DL White and Thief River Falls rounding out the top five. Four other teams trailed.

Shawn Omdahl of Roseau was medalist at a four over par 76.

For Bemidji, freshman Trey Dale led with a 79. Joe Welle and Rylee Curb had 81 and Kaleb Hanson 83 to complete the scoring.

Max Hazelton hit 86 and Kevin Larson 89 as the kickers.

The Jacks wind up their regular season Thursday at Greystone in a triangular with Moorhead and Fergus Falls. Greystone will be the site of the Section 8-2A meet Monday and Tuesday.
