Lawrence Xavier Latulippe

69, of Mesa, Arizona, formerly of Bemidji, Minnesota, passed away after a long battle with multiple organ failures on Sunday, April 15, 2018 with his wife, Delmarie (Anderson) Latulippe by his side.

A celebration of his life will be held at the Bemidji Eagles Club on Friday, May 25, with a service held at 4:00pm. A time for sharing memories and remembering Larry will also be held at the Eagles, following the service.

Larry was born to Francois and Joyce (McGriff) Latulippe, April 23, 1948, in Bemidji, Minnesota. He grew up in Bemidji, attended St. Philip's Catholic School and graduated from Bemidji High School in 1966. He married Delmarie (Anderson) July 14, 1973, at First Lutheran Church. Larry was a dedicated volunteer firefighter with the Bemidji Fire Department. His primary job was working for the City of Bemidji, which he did for over 24 years. Larry's hobbies included an interest in classic cars, stock car racing, camping, and meeting people.

In 2015, Larry and Delmarie moved to Mesa, Arizona where they spent their retirement, returning to Bemidji for the summer months. In retirement Larry loved to play billiards, drive his golf cart, take day trips with Delmarie on his motorcycle and watch dirt-track racing.

Larry is survived by his wife, Delmarie Latulippe, daughters; Carrie (Paul) Barlette of Arlington, MN and Shawna (Jeff) Hanks of Bemidji, MN, and 4 grandchildren; Noah Xavier Hanks, Christian Lawrence Hanks, Connor Brendan Bartlette, and Hannah Delilah Bartlette.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents Francois and Joyce Latulippe.
