Marion Jane Kraft

Marion Jane Kraft, 85, of Blackduck, MN died on Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at the Good Samaritan Center in Blackduck.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at Faith Lutheran Church in Blackduck with Pastor Michael Flechsig officiating. Visitation will be held from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. on Friday, September 15th at Cease Family Funeral Home of Blackduck and one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in Lakeview Cemetery in Blackduck.

Marion was born on November 15, 1931 in St. Paul, MN, the daughter of Bernard and Ruth (Anderson) Coline. She and her sister, Marllys, were raised and grew up on their parent's farm in Manannah, MN near Litchfield. She helped on the farm and attended school in Litchfield, graduating from Litchfield High School. She then attended hairdressing school in Litchfield and obtained her license. She owned and operated a Beauty Salon in Park Rapids and then in Kelliher, where she was a hairdresser. She graduated in 1984 from the Detroit Lakes Vo-Tech with a diploma in sign painting. In 1991 she began working as a sewer at Anderson Fabrics in Blackduck and retired 12 years later. She married Roland M. Kraft on February 14, 2004 in Blackduck and they made their home on Rabideau Lake. She enjoyed fishing, boating, sewing, painting and crafts. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Blackduck.

Marion is survived by a daughter, Penny (Paul) Yerbich of Bemidji, MN; 2 sons, Ray Cogger of Bemidji, MN and Tim (Sabrina) Cogger of Fargo, ND; 4 grandchildren, Kara, Samantha, Isabel and Kaya; 1 great granddaughter, Arava; a sister, Sylvia Buress of Litchfield, MN; and several nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Roland Kraft on Feb. 17, 2016; her parents; an infant daughter, Tammy; a sister, Marllys Hillman; and 2 brothers, Edward and Richard Holmgren.
